Nothing can really prepare you for living with a boy, other then living with brothers.... Which I did, for years. But that's besides the point. His shoes are everywhere, he watches the dumbest shows and hogs my TV he paid lots of money for, he's a heater... I wake up nightly sweating and our apartment is 65 degrees, he lets his alarm go off three different times in the morning, pretty soon here my foot pushing him off the bed is going to be his second alarm..... But did I mention that every single one of these things has made me fall more hopelessly in love with my kind and caring wonderful little husband..? I didn't mention that..... I should of.
Married life has been so very interesting.. It's fun, its terrific. You always ask people after they get married "how's married life?" And they always say "it's wonderful" then I thought to myself... How would you know, you've been married five seconds... But it's true... After 5 seconds I knew married life is absolute wonderful! Those of you married would agree.
Well, I started this blog.. It's great fun. Thank you to the two people that will read this. Its what married people do, they blog. Although, if you know Collin... You know you won't be seeing a blog from him anytime soon. Honestly, he probably won't even know I have this one... So it's mainly my blog... About our life.. Through my eyes..
We got married and had a wonderful honeymoon in -2 degree weather. Why you ask? I don't know... Maybe I was trying to impress Collin at the time that I could withstand the cold weather? Maybe I was half asleep... I couldn't of been in a right state of mind... Because when Telluride came up I went for it. And you know, all in all it was wonderful. Freezing, but beautiful and I loved being somewhere new. We came back and quickly moved apartments. Our neighbor below us smoked enough for 50 people a day, Collin couldn't stand the smell... So 24hrs of looking we found a apartment and moved in.. With tons of help.. 1 day before our lease was up, just in the nick of time! Eventful.
We love our place. We love our new ward. We weren't called to the nursery.. Thank goodness. I was called to be the relief society secretary.. And Collin gets to support me in that calling.. Someone lucked out. I have no idea what I'm doing.. I moved into a ward a month ago and now I literally need to know every persons name by yesterday. Doomed. We get to talk this Sunday. Doomed. Kidding... It won't be terrible.
And the best news thus far. Collin and I listened to everyone's advice and finally started watching The Walking Dead. Season 1-2 and 3 all watched in a week (obsessed).. Completely caught up in time to watch the mid season premier. We took a concealed weapons class last Saturday... Practiced my head shots.... Just in case.
Whelp, that's it for now. I love quotes... So I'll leave you with one...
"The happiest people don't have the best things, they just make the best of everything."
